- Thesis: Many artists who create nonsensical lyrics become famous because the beats are catchy, the lyrics are easy to relate to and people have low standards for music.

- Alternate thesis style: Despite the fact that many artists create poor lyrics, they become famous because of the low musical standards of fans.
Question: Could these nonsensical lyrics that many artists create affect young kids and their education?

Good work on both submissions. Here's something to think about: being more specific in your thesis can tighten up your argument. "Speaking the way they do" could mean anything.
DeleteAlso, you've inserted a conclusion in your thesis ("that isn't right"). Save that for your conclusion paragraph along with why it is a problem. It will give you something to discuss in that part of your essay and allow your reader to come to that conclusion based on your support instead of you telling them upfront the conclusion you will be leading them to. Chances are if it's a convincing argument, they will meet your there at the end of your essay!

ReplyDeleteThesis: Lyrics change every year because of different aging generation. Parentally today’s lyrics are about drugs, alcohol, and about sex.

Thesis: Many artists become famous by using they’re lyrics and out ravers styles to gain fame. For example: Lady Gaga she wears an outfit made out of meat and still be cool about it and still get famous over all.

3-Why people become rappers?
ReplyDeleteYoung teens become rappers because is a good way to make easy money, they don’t have to go to college and invest four or more years of their lives, they travel everywhere have no responsibilities or stable life since they are at concerts, parties, clubs or countries promoting their music and getting paid for it.
Thesis:
Fans or followers are responsible for making the music a business choice when they buy it regardless the price or pay ridicule concert tickets or promotional material or clothing that only make a few people rich and make it look like a good profession for the ones who like to have an easy life.

ReplyDeleteMany artist now get famous by writing lyrics that have no type of sense and many people hear it. Sometimes it makes those artist who do have good lyrics follow what they do because since they see people like it than they don't want to lose their fans or to they want to gain more fans.

Music has change for the fact that nothing ever stays the same. Just like fashion is change every year , and its just to not bored people with the same thing, artist always have to find a way to catch the fans attention.

Music has change for the fact that artist have to always come up with something new and fresh every year. As the years pass by , artist seem to run out of ideas and have change the music so much. Artist/musician write nonsensical lyrics because that is what the audience ask for and they make more money, if Madonna sings a nonsensical song, people will buy the CD, download it from iTunes and go to the concert.
